1. The 4-way Test:
One of the most widely printed and quoted statements of business ethics in the world is The 4-Way Test. Its message should be known and followed by all Rotarians.
“Of the things we think, say, or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”
Whether the applicant is a Rotarian or a non-Rotarian, how would you describe the nominee’s conduct in his/her business or professional life based on Rotary’s 4-Way Test? Please give specific examples.
2. Employer/Employee Relations:
How has the nominee promoted efforts in his/her business or profession to increase the loyalty and productivity of the employees by relations based on fairness and understanding? Please give specific examples.

How has the nominee promoted activities to assist young people in career election?
4. Trade and Professional Relations:
How has the nominee participated in his/her trade or professional association? How has the nominee taken a leadership role?
Describe how the nominee has promoted programs to upgrade standards of honesty and courtesy in such associations.
How has the nominee provided special expertise to civic agencies or community organizations as a volunteer? List outstanding vocational service accomplishments of the nominee. If available, attach documentary evidence such as newspaper clippings, program bulletins, etc. to support your nomination.
